Grants are now available to help you insulate and heat your home. Up to £2000 is available to you now if you are a home owner or private tenant,  aged 60 and over and receiving one or more of the following benefits :-

• Council Tax Benefit
• Income Based Jobseekers Allowance
• Housing Benefit

What will the grant provide for you ?
It will provide a package of insulation and heating tailored to each property listed below :-

• Loft Insulation
• Cavity Wall Insulation
• Draught Proofing Doors/Windows
• Hot Water Jackets

Extra measures available to you :-

• Low Energy Light Bulbs

The following are able to claim up to £1000 grants :-

Households with a child under 16 who are receiving one or more of the following benefits :-

• Income Support
• Housing Benefit
• Council Tax Benefits, Income Based Jobseekers Allowance
• Working Families Tax Credit

Households who are receiving one or more of the following benefits :-

• Income Support (which must include a Disability Premium)
• Housing Benefit (which must include a Disability Premium)
• Council Tax Benefit (which must include a Disability Premium)
• Disabled Persons Tax Credit
• Attendance Allowance
• Disability Living Allowance
• Industrial Injuries Disability Benefit (which must include Constant Attendance Allowance)
• War Disability Pension (which must include Mobility or Constant Attendance Allowance)
